The Plan
The plan involves nothing more than simply taking your time, thinking things through and then making choices about basic vacation matters. It is not something that is long, nor is it something that will leave you more confused than before. Instead, it will help you to plan a great vacation.
1.Where to Go
You can’t expect to plan a scuba diving vacation without first deciding where you want to go. Perhaps you’d like to go to Hawaii? Or maybe California? Or how about an exotic scuba diving trip in Mexico? Before you can go further with your plans, it is important to know where you want to go. If you’re having trouble deciding, you might want to read reviews of various scuba diving vacation hot spots to see which are worth going to. Or you may want to ask some buddies of yours for recommendations.
2.Online or a Travel Agency?
Next, you should try to decide whether you’ll use the internet or go to a travel agency to book your vacation details. More and more people are turning to the internet to make vacation plans, as it is typically cheaper and gives them a great deal of variety. There is no replacing the knowledge of a travel agency, so don’t rule out using one. But before you go further, decide on whether you’ll be using a travel agency or doing things online.
3.Flight
Before booking hotel or anything, else you should first book the flight. It is usually cheapest to go online to Travelocity.com or another discount place to book the flight. When booking a flight, keep in mind that you can typically get the best deals by flying late at night or during the week. That is why being flexible in regards to flight times can really be a good thing.
4.Hotel and Car Rental
Now that you have the flight taken care of, it’s time get a hotel. For this part of the plan, you may want to read hotel reviews to ensure that whatever hotel you choose, it will be a good fit for you. You can typically reserve hotels through places like Travelocity.com and Hotels.com. The same can be said for car rental as well. In fact, both these places allow you to book car and hotel rental together, thus potentially saving you a lot of money.
5.Where to Dive
Once you have everything else out of the way, you can choose where to dive. Again, for this, you will want to get opinions from other scuba divers. Ask them what places they’d recommend diving at. Then, using this information, go online to the web sites and book a reservation for whatever scuba diving place seems the most appealing to you.
